El Seattle Sounders de la MLS se ha interesado por la situación del jugador asiático tanteando el terreno con los agentes del futbolista. Este conjunto es uno de los poderosos de la liga norteamericana y ya pagaron la cláusula de rescisión de Martins (tres millones de euros), cuando el jugador pertenecía al Levante UD. Este tipo de conjuntos tienen poderío económico y son capaces de ofrecer un salario de peso a cualquier futbolista.
